TEENS

Why teens treatment matters?

Teen years are the perfect window for orthodontic treatment. At this age, most permanent teeth are in place, and the jaw is still flexible enough to guide into proper alignment.

Orthodontics essentials

Align, balance and stabilize

  • Aligners: discreet, removable, and custom-made to guide your teeth gently into place — ideal for teens and adults.

  • Braces (metal / ceramic) : reliable and effective. Choose between classic metal or tooth-colored ceramic for a more discreet appearance.

  • Lingual Braces: placed behind your teeth, lingual braces offer full correction with zero visibility.

  • Retainers: after active treatment, retainers ensure stability and long-term smile harmony.

We offer several effective and discreet solutions for teenagers, including traditional braces, clear ceramic braces, and removable aligners. The best option depends on your teen’s specific needs, lifestyle, and preferences — we’ll guide you during the consultation.

Yes — clear aligners are a discreet and comfortable alternative to braces, ideal for responsible teens who can follow wear-time instructions. They're removable, which makes eating and cleaning easier.

Aligners must be worn at least 20–22 hours per day, including during sleep, to ensure effective tooth movement. They should only be removed for meals and brushing.

Braces may take a few days to get used to, but teens can continue their normal routine, including school, sports, and music. We provide guidance to help them adapt quickly and feel confident throughout treatment.

On average, orthodontic treatment for teens lasts between 12 and 24 months, depending on the complexity of the case and how well instructions are followed (e.g., wearing elastics or aligners).

Yes — with a few adjustments. We recommend avoiding very hard, sticky, or chewy foods that can damage the braces. We’ll provide a complete list and practical tips for healthy eating during treatment.

If something breaks, don’t worry. Contact us as soon as possible and we’ll schedule a repair appointment. In the meantime, your teen can use orthodontic wax to prevent discomfort.

We use 3D scanning, digital treatment planning, and remote check-ins to improve precision and convenience. This allows for fewer in-person visits and more flexibility for busy teens and families.

Virtual or remote monitoring allows us to track your teen’s orthodontic progress between appointments using a secure app or photo-based check-ins. It reduces the need for frequent in-person visits while ensuring the treatment stays on track. Teens simply send regular photos of their teeth, and our orthodontists review the data to decide if it's time to move to the next aligner or adjust the plan. It’s convenient, efficient, and especially helpful for busy families.
